Extension


Refers to the provision of additional data or information elements above and beyond those provided in a ‘core’ invoice or one containing the normally provided or legally required information in an invoice. The European Norm will contain provision for an Extension Methodology to handle such extensions, which may be of a country or sector specific nature.
